On the 1st of July, my kid sister is having her birthday. And since her nickname is "Bumblebee", I thought that I should try and make one in silver!
Being a lot tougher to do in many ways compared to the previous neclace I did, I did not really know what I got myself into. But after two visits, I finally got it done in time!

Well, today I can finally publish it! My "extra sister" graduated and the secracy about her present can be lifted!
The thing is that I´ve had the fortune to be in contact with a team of jewelry artists (Sju) where I was curious to feed my creative side. Eventually I found the perfect project to try out... to design and make my and my other sisters present to my extra sister.
So I spent á few days to design a pendant necklace... this is few notes about steps along the way!
Well, after finally finding a design that I liked and had some extra meaning to, I printed it in different sizes. Chose a appropriate size, glued it to the material I was going to use.
And now the hard part begun... It sounds easy to just saw the pattern out... it is not. Well, not for a true novice like me anyway!

On a beautiful day in may, we had a graduation at the Simon Lau Centre in Gothenburg/Sweden.
Grand master Simon Lau himself was there to do the graduation (from the UK branch). Master being known to have studied under Master Yip Man in Hong Kong, alongside Bruce Lee before Mr Lee focused on movies and developing his own technique.
Here are some pictures and movies I took from the first grade graduation. Maybe I´ll get to do it myself one day? Enjoy!
